Lucy Liu is an American singer, actress, producer and singer. Liu is a gorgeous, talented actress who has helped many Asian actors to achieve success in Hollywood. After a series of appearances in popular television shows, she became famous when she was a part of the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she was Ling Woo. Her fame exploded into movie roles, such as Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. She then delivered a superlative performance in the role of Japanese crime lord, O-RenIshii In Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. Also, she portrayed leading roles in the failures of box office films like Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started voicing the characters of animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Screen roles of a smaller screen like Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia did not yield the desired results. The role she played in the critically acclaimed police drama series Southland was instrumental in establishing her as a well-known actress.
