Her role was soon recognized with the Golden Globe award in the "Most Promising Newcomer" category for her role in the movie 'Blood Alley'. Her career included many films that included the war drama War and Peace, the Western 'Valerie,' the British crime thriller The Man Inside and the Italian/French drama The Dam on the Yellow River.'
